Plant & Equipment Servicing
Keeping plant operational is not a luxury — it is a basic requirement of any working site. When small plant fails or falls out of service, jobs stall, costs rise and pressure falls on the people responsible for keeping things moving.
Canter Construction provides servicing and maintenance for small construction and groundworks plant, operating from Suffolk with collection and return available across the region. We work on the equipment that keeps sites and facilities running day to day — not just when something goes wrong, but on a planned basis that prevents problems before they cause disruption.
Our background is in using this plant. We run pressure washers, compressors, generators and small groundworks equipment in our own operations, which means we understand how this kit behaves in real working conditions, what wear looks like, and what's worth addressing before it becomes a breakdown.

How it works
We collect, service and return. No need to arrange transport or take equipment off site yourself. Work is carried out with written records of what was inspected, what was done and the condition of the equipment on return — giving facilities and operations teams the documentation they need for asset management and compliance purposes.
The equine angle
A working equine yard runs on small plant. Pressure washers, generators, compact loaders — the same equipment that keeps a commercial site operational keeps a yard functioning safely and to standard. Our servicing work grew out of maintaining our own equipment to the level required for professional yard and groundworks operations, and we apply the same standard to every piece of kit we work on.
Structured, documented, reliable
We understand the requirements of managed facilities contracts. Servicing records, method statements and risk assessments are provided as standard. If you work within an approved supplier framework, contact us to discuss what documentation you need from us.
